All foreign nationals that are not visa-exempt must apply for a visa for Bulgaria to be allowed into the country. However, all children under the age of six (even those from visa-required countries) are exempt from holding a visa when entering Bulgaria.

What Countries are Exempt from Bulgaria Visas?

The following countries are exempt from holding a visa when traveling to Bulgaria for a period of less than 90 days.

How to Travel to Bulgaria if You Don’t Need a Visa?

If you do not need a visa for Bulgaria, you can travel there with just your passport, which must be valid for at least another six months and have a minimum of two blank pages.
