Under certain conditions, your front airbag inflator could rupture when it deploys during a crash. If this happens, sharp metal fragments could pass through the airbag, striking you or your loved ones, causing serious injuries or fatalities.
If the ignition switch is not in the run position, the airbags may not deploy if your vehicle is involved in a crash, increasing the risk of injury or fatality.
